17. january 2010 / PATRIK ELIAS' STATEMENT FOLLOWING THE HIT THAT TOOK HIM OUT OF SATURDAY NIGHT'S GAME IN COLORADO

The hit was pretty hard. I don't remember very much. I do remember Milan Hejduk asking me "Eli, Eli, are you okay?" as I passed the Colorado locker room. The most important thing is that the medical tests have all come back negative and I have not sustained any serious injuries. I believe that my head and neck pain will lessen in the next few days and I'll be able to join the team soon and continue preparing for the Olympics in Vancouver. I want to thank everyone for their support and encouragement.
